With reach throughout Solana Beach, the North County Transit District provides Breeze and FLEX buses for easy travel within North County and select locations in Orange County. Breeze buses service areas including Oceanside/Camp Pendleton, Del Mar, Escondido, Ramona, Fallbrook and San Clemente; while FLEX offers rides by reservation to specific North County Communities.
From any point in Solana Beach, you’re just a few minutes from both the Amtrak and COASTER train stations. Designed by local architect Rob Wellington Quigley, the Amtrak station is one of the busiest in the country and sees over 20 trains pass over its tracks each day. The commuter-friendly COASTER station operates 20+ trains to cruise between North County and San Diego daily and adds even more over the weekend to accommodate busy travelers.
Solana Beach offers an array of rental car establishments and options within its city limits. Most are conveniently located on Highway 101, so once you get the keys, you’re ready to go and see all that the city has to offer.
