The City and La Colonia Community Foundation invites you to join your friends and neighbors on Saturday, December 10th at the historic La Colonia Park to celebrate the holiday season. There will be plenty of sweets, treats, and Mexican hot cocoa to go along with all the fun. Including traditional holiday aguinaldos treat bags for the children, and delicious pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread). Festivities begin at 5 PM so don’t be late or you might miss Santa’s arrival!
Once the switch is flipped by Mayor Heebner and City Council, and the tree lights turn on, all eyes will be watching for Santa’s arrival with his elves, scheduled for 5:20 PM. Children will have the chance to ask Santa for that most important gift and to remind him just how good they’ve been all year. Happy Holidays!
